Headquartered in Jackson, Wyoming, Frontier Alliance International is a Christian mission organization working in conflict zones in the Middle East and Asia. With a mission to exalt the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached, Frontier Alliance International (FAI) organizes training programs for people who want to begin missionary work in the Middle East. One of these programs is The Pesengi Intensive.

The Pesengi Intensive is a one-month immersive learning program among the Kurdish people, the world’s largest stateless group. Numbering over 31 million, they live in several states including Syria, Turkey, Iran, and Iraq. FAI operates within their communities, showing them the love of Jesus Christ.

Pesengi translates to pioneer, guide, or leader. The Pesengi Intensive builds cultural and language competencies in people who want to lead the Kurds. The program also gives these people firsthand experience on what it is like to minister in the Islamic world, alongside FAI’s teams. Modern ministry demands a renewed vision, commitment, and practice that is much more involving than in previous eras. The Pesengi Intensive helps people adapt to this new environment in order to lead others to the Gospel.
